Richard Trunnell Appointed to the Juvenile Standards in Training Workgroup

Mr. Trunnell was recently appointed to the Juvenile Standards in Training Workgroup, a group led by the Honorable Judge William B. Tucker, a Howard County Circuit Court Judge and Michael J. Stamm a St. Mary’s County Circuit Court Judge. The purpose of the workgroup is to make recommendations concerning whether there should be standards and required training for attorneys in juvenile justice proceedings. Mr. Trunnell and the other members of the panel of the Juvenile Justice System have met numerous times and are working on possible changes to the law which would require stakeholders in the Juvenile Justice system to have specific training and standards to achieve both Court care with juveniles who come before the Circuit Court. Anyone who is interested or has input or questions can contact Mr. Trunnell.
