Trunnell Law, LLC Sponsors Stuff the Bus Fundraiser for Crofton Schools

Our legal team at Trunnell Law, LLC is proud to serve as a sponsor of Stuff the Bus, a program to help underprivileged students prepare for the upcoming school year. The event will be held between 10 am and 3 pm on Friday, August 4 at Chick-fil-A. Stuff the Bus is supported by Trunnell Law in conjunction with The MOMS Club of Crofton and the Chamber of Commerce to collect new school materials to distribute to children who can’t otherwise afford them.

The MOMS Club of Crofton is a non-profit support group for women who stay home with their children and are passionate about giving back to their community. The Stuff the Bus program is just one of their service projects this year. Those wishing to contribute to the program may bring new #2 pencils, crayons, colored pencils, notebook paper, spiral notebooks, backpacks, washable markers, or solid-colored pocket folders, among other things. In lieu of school supplies, monetary donations are also acceptable.

All supplies will be used to benefit children in low-income households or those experiencing homelessness or other hardships. Once materials have been collected, they will be divvied up to fill new backpacks with all necessary school supplies for the 2017-2018 school year. The stuffed backpacks will then be given to the students in need throughout Crofton, including the 4 elementary schools in Crofton and the local middle school.

Trunnell Law, LLC is happy to sponsor this program, and our legal team will be attending the event on August 4 at Chick-fil-A. The Stuff the Bus program supports Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services and the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Back-to-School Program.
