Trunnell Law Giving Back

In September, Matt Skipper and his wife Jamie led a team of seven on a medical missions trip to El Salvador. Working in conjunction with King's Castle Ministries, the team treated over 250 patients in four days. The mobile clinics the team set up brought provided basic health care for many impoverished residents in rural areas that lack access to modernized care.

Jamie Skipper had previously served as the nurse-in-residence at the base in El Salvador for 6 months in 2003, and was excited to bring a team comprised mostly of family members back. The team of seven was made up of a doctor and four nurses.

"It was a tremendous opportunity to give back," said Matt. "We do not realize what we take for granted in this country."

The team is already excited to return to El Salvador, and is currently planning a biannual trip reconvening in 2016.
